Farmer's Market

The Highlands Ranch Farmer's Market is officially back this weekend (May 1st).  It's held every Sunday from 10am - 2pm at the Town Center until October 30th.  I'm glad that we get the chance to meet and support our local farmers!  It's also a fun place for kids, they have different activities and booths throughout the year.  For more information check out the Denver Farmer's Market website.

Amazon Mom

We really love Amazon Mom!  I was surprised to find out at Jack's playgroup that no one else was taking advantage of it.  I love getting great deals and whenever I find a good one I try to share it with my friends.  Buying diapers off Amazon is cheaper than the grocery store (plus since we live in Colorado we don't pay tax).  It's also nice knowing that you'll never run out of baby necessities.  Here's how it works. First, you sign up for amazon mom, then pick out the products that you want.  They have all the major brands to choose from.  Next, choose how often you want them delivered and you receive 30% off as well as free 2 day shipping.  It's also nice because they email you before they send out the next order, so in case you don't need them, you can just skip that month's shipment.  We use it for diapers, wipes, and diaper genie refills, but you can also use it for household products.  The diapers and wipes are 30% off with subscribe and save and all other products are 15% off with subscribe and save.  Here is the link to get started on Amazon Mom.

MOPS Sale

Saturday, April 9th is the MOPS Children's Consignment Sale at Cherry Hills Community Church from 8:30am - 1:30pm!  You won't want to miss this sale - try to get there early as hundreds of shoppers are expected throughout the day.  The church is located on Grace Blvd off of Fairview Pkwy in Highlands Ranch.  Some of the items they will be selling include: toys, clothing, baby essentials, and even maternity clothes all gently used and up to 75% off.  I have never been to the MOPS sale before, but I have a friend that plans her vacations around not missing this sale because she has gotten such amazing deals.  For more information check out their website.  There is a $2 entrance fee.

A Day of Firsts - Stroller Strides and FroYo!

It's finally starting to feel like spring, and we're taking advantage of this beautiful weather!  Today Jack and I went to the Highlands Ranch Stroller Strides for the first time.  We had a lot of fun and it's definitely a great way to get into shape.  It was nice meeting other moms, and the best part was to have Jack with me while I worked out.  Sometimes I feel guilty leaving him just to go workout - which is probably why I haven't in a while :)  Stroller Strides is for all workout levels.  The first class is free, if you are interested in checking it out here is the link

After class we went to get frozen yogurt at BTO.  Jack and I had never been there before, but it's a favorite of the Highlands Ranch Stroller Striders.  BTO is quite an experience; they have free samples and so many yummy flavors to choose from.  It's a fun outing for kids of all ages because they can pick out their own flavors and toppings and really make it their own creation.  We're looking forward to many more great days like today!
