Belly Up Spa!!!

One of my friends, Rhonda, (an incredible person and amazing Mom!) is opening up her dream business and I am SO excited for her!  I will post all the details about the grand opening once that gets closer, but for now I thought I would share what will be coming soon!

Belly Up Spa, a funny & cute name you soon won't forget.  It will change the way you look at spas. Let's define spas.. ahhh a place you go to relax, check.. a place you go for a facial, check.. a place you go when you hurt you back.. check.  Belly Up has all of that too, but Belly Up caters to Moms!  All moms… so whether you are thinking about becoming a Mom, you are an expecting, you are a Mom to 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 kids, working Mom, stay home Mom, or Grandmom… this is a place that caters to you!!  This will be a place you want to go to because it will be that fix of happiness and rejuvenation.

Why not BellyUp to the nail bar with Momtini pedicure.. extra olives please!!  Or a hot fudge sundae pedicure.. really?!!  And they don't call them nail techs, they are MOMtenders…haha.  Or book a My Mom Rocks massage, or a Pregnancy massage given by their prenatal certified massage therapist.  They even have the option for organic products used during their facials, which is perfect for Moms to be!  (I remember being pregnant with Jack and really wanting a facial but I never got one because I was so worried about all of the chemicals.)  If only Belly Up Spa was open 2 years ago :)

For the expectant Mommy, they will have 3D/4D ultrasounds to make your memories even sweeter. What Mom doesn't like to shop for things she needs and things she doesn't need, Belly Up will carry everything a Mom will want!!  Of course with Mom comes her family, so they will have special times for mommy & me pedicures, mommy & me yoga, and family nights.  They also have a couples room, when its time to reconnect with your loved one, or sister or heck even your Mom… it's a time free of outside interruptions.

They will have yoga classes in their private yoga studio!! As well as Belly Up Bootcamp! Bring it on!  Belly Up will also be offering a 10 week training for Moms who have always wanted to run a 5K but are not sure how to get there.  In the fall they will be sponsoring a 5k that supports their non-profit..Robbie's Wish.  They will also be holding book clubs, knitting, and many other social events…so not just your average spa!!  They are redefining the business.

Belly Up has been a vision for the owner Rhonda James, ever since she had her first child, Hayden, 9 years ago.  "It's funny, I have napkins, notebooks & an actual vision board with all my ideas on them!" She went on to have 3 more children but also lost one of those 3 to a cord accident, hence the birth of their non-profit, Robbie's Wish, from which all proceeds go to children in need.  Rhonda says "I am so excited to bring Moms together at Belly Up, I believe my gift is just that, to bring a community of families together so they can enjoy what they have, laugh, relax, and rejuvenate so they can be the best Mom they can be.  We as Moms give so much, so I am hoping Belly Up can give back to them."

Construction is underway, they will be located at 7600 E Park Meadows Drive #600 in Lone Tree, right around the corner from Monkey Business.  Depending on construction, they plan to open in March.  To follow the happenings of Belly Up, please join them on Facebook or Twitter

Rhonda is also the publisher/owner of Denver’s only upscale baby magazine called the Baby Guide and kids too... of the Mile High City. A unique magazine that's geared towards Moms.  It will be distributed in local hospitals and baby stores.  I will have some exciting news about the magazine in February :)
